Getting There

Leaving the M1 at Junction 13, follow the A421 signed Bedford, northbound 2nd exit, southbound 1st exit.
At the next traffic lights continue on the A421.
Enter Brogborough and turn left, signed Picnic Area with brown tourist sign.
The entrance to the car park is immediately on your right.
Return to M1 Junction 13
Turn left out of the car park, and then turn right onto the A421. Continue on the A421 to the motorway intersection.
Brogborough Hill Picnic Area/Reynold Wood

At the end of the car park there is an information board offering a choice of walks of varying lengths.
We found the most dog-friendly walk was the bridleway leading down to the lake, even though the uphill climb wasn't so much fun.
The circular walk is a good length, but roads and farms mean that dogs must be on the lead.
Brogborough Hill is part of the Forest of Marston Vale, 61 square miles of land which has been reclaimed from industry and recreated in its original woodland form.
Tip
If you are heading northbound, it's worth stopping at the Moto service station just 5 miles before Junction 13 to use the facilities there and to gather picnic provisions from the Moto M&S store to enjoy at Brogborough Hill.
Facilities

None, apart from picnic tables.
