Getting There
Southbound route only
Leave the M1 at Junction 15A and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit signed Northampton, M1N.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit A43 signed Northampton.
At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit A45 signed Wellingborough A43 Kettering.
At the next roundabout take the 4th exit signed Camp Hill.
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit for Camp Hill, Hunsbury Hill.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit and Hunsbury Hill car park is on the left, unsigned.
Despite all the roundabouts, this is easy to find and not as tortuous as the route suggests.
Return to M1 Southbound
Turn left out of the car park.
At the T-junction turn left, signed East Hunsbury.
At the roundabout take the 3rd exit signed M1S. There is a Tesco on this roundabout.
At the next roundabout take the 5th exit signed M1, Milton Keynes A45. This road returns to the M1.
Hunsbury Hill Country Park
Walk to the end of the car park to follow the clear track over the gated level crossing and into the country park.
There are clear, wide muddy tracks through the woodland with plenty of running space for dogs.
Lots of dogs clearly enjoy a regular walk here, and we found a very sociable group of them on the right hand side after the level crossing. Expect a warm welcome and lively conversation from the locals!
Facilities
Free parking, with height restriction to car park. Dog poo bins throughout.
