Shorne Wood Country Park

Length of walk: at least 40 minutes, with longer for swimming
The signed Woodland Track, which starts at the P&D machine by the visitor centre, provides a very dog-centred walk. There's evidently a dog lover here, as there is a sign pointing to Shorne Cam pool – a venue for dog swimming.
There are several other colour-coded waymarked paths and circular walks that lead out of the park. A guide leaflet is available for these routes at the information centre.
Shorne Wood is a site of special scientific interest, and is made up of over 170 acres of ancient woodland and heath, water meadows and lakes. It was formerly part of the Cobham Estate.
Facilities

Car Park – Pay & Display £1.00 all day, opening times vary. Visitor Centre, WC, shop, picnic area, sensory garden, recycle bins, adventure playground. Dog poo bins throughout park.
There's plenty for everyone to do here, and accessibility is a key feature of the park. Electro-scooters can be hired for the less mobile, best to book on 01474 823800 to avoid disappointment.
