Map of M2 Junction 3 Walk

Length of walk: approx 2.5 miles / 1 hour

Return to the road and turn left.

Walk along the road until the 1st Public Footpath sign points you left across a field. Stay on this path and it will take you into the trees.

After this, the path is basically a straight line, heading gently downhill. Ignore all tracks to the left and right.

After 20 minutes or so you will begin to hear the rumblings of 21st century transportation getting louder. Emerging from the wood you will see Upper Nathenden Farm ahead of you. Just before the farm, turn left onto the waymarked Bridleway and head back into the woods.

Stay on this path and it leads you straight back to the Robin Hood on a slight upward incline.

The fenced meadow on your right appears to be a flood meadow and so it is probably a good idea to keep your dog out of it during very wet weather.
