Getting There
Leave the M2 at Junction 6 and take the A251, signed Ashford.
Drive through North Street.
Turn left, signed Selling, Shottenden, New House Lane.
Stay on this lane, passing through Hogben's Hill, following signs to Selling.
Drive through Selling, past Norham's Farm on the left, and take the first right turn, signed Perry Wood, and the Rose and Crown PH.
At the crossroads turn left, signed Perry Wood car park, and the car park is immediately to the left.
Return to M2 Junction 6
Turn right out of the car park and right again. At the T-junction turn left and drive through Selling. Stay on this road and pass through Hogben's Hill. Pass Newhouse Farm on your left and, at the crossroads, turn right on the A251.
Drive through North Street and continue on the A251 until you reach the M2, Eastbound – signed M2, Margate, Dover and Westbound – signed M2, London.
Perry Wood
There are two information boards with walking information, and clearly signed paths through this enchanting wood.
The yellow arrows direct you on a short circular walk through an avenue of rhodedendron and beech trees.
Facilities
Parking is free. No other facilities at the wood.
The White Lion PH in nearby Selling (ME13 9RQ) is well worth a visit. Children and dogs are welcomed, and there is a large garden. Bar food available.
