Wayfarer's Walk – Dummer

Map of M3 Junction 7 Walk

Starting from the church gate, look for the waymarker sign for the Wayfarer's Walk and follow this path, which is signed towards Emsworth.

The path is concrete, and suitable for wheelchairs and buggies, and all footwear. It is fenced and hedged on both sides with rowan and hawthorn, and dogs can run freely without the worry of upsetting the nearby ponies and livestock.

Pass by Manor Farm and continue straight ahead, passing a ‘no vehicles' sign. From here on, the path continues straight ahead and it's a question of going as far as you like before turning round to return to Dummer.

Facilities

Dummer ChurchThe Queens Arms is resolutely inhospitable to dogs, alas. But despite this, it is an award winning hostelry with a warm welcome and good service for people. On a day when it is not too warm to leave your dogs in the car, this is a fine venue to have a coffee or a meal, and a good rendezvous point too. The reason it has been included is for its comfort for ladies travelling alone, although we are still on the look out for an alternative.
