Otterbourne Park Wood

Like all Woodland Trust maintained woods, this is an extremely safe environment for dogs and Otterbourne Park Wood excels in that bikes and horses are denied access here.
Enter the wood on the signed Public Footpath, which leads downhill on the outward leg of the walk, and uphill on the return section.
There are also many paths to the sides, and this is an enchanting place to ramble in at will.
Otterbourne Park Wood is a County Heritage Site with a long history, represented by the gnarled ancient oak trees and the clear signs of an old Roman road from Winchester . The nearby village was mentioned in the Domesday Book.
Facilities

Dog poo bins at the entrance point to the woods.
The Otter public house is nearby.
