Coate Water Lakeside Walk

Map of M4 Junction 15 Walk

This is a fine all-weather walk on a hard surface path around the lake.

Leave the car park and walk up the incline to the information board about the water park.

The signed path around the water is 4 miles of flat, easy walking. As this is a circular walk, it's easy to walk as little or as long as you want and turn around at a time that suits you.

The formidable looking diving board probably has a local history all of its own. Seriously scary!

Facilities

Coate Water Ranger Centre

Free car park, WC, café, picnic area, BBQ area, children's play area, ranger on duty. Dog poo bins throughout.

When we visited the café was closed and waiting for new owners. Until it re-opens, The Sun Inn is adjacent to the lake, and although more oriented to families with children than dogs, food is available.
