Getting There
Sat Nav: SN14 6JB
Leave the M4 at Junction 17 and take the A429, Eastbound 1st exit, Westbound 4th exit, signed Cirencester.
Turn left, signed Grittleton, Stanton St Quinton.
Enter Stanton St Quinton and turn left, signed Kington St Michael. This is Kington Lane.
Enter Kington St Michael and at the T-junction turn left and drive through the village to The Jolly Huntsman car park on the right hand side.
If you are not planning to patronise the Jolly Huntsman, there is limited parking opposite the village hall, off Stubbs Lane, a little further on.
Return to M4 Junction 17
Turn right from the car park, or village hall.
Turn left at the crossroads.
Turn left onto the A350.
Continue along the A350 to return to the M4.
Rural walk in Kington St Michael
Length of walk: 35 minutes
Turn left from the car park, or village hall, and walk down the village street past the Almshouses on the left hand side. Shortly after, look for a Bridleway sign on the right. Go down this track and when the path divides by a metal gate take the right hand path to walk through a meadow. In the summer this was a mass of wildflowers and the path lined with chamomile.
Follow this clear path as far as the cottage on the left hand side, and then turn around to return.

At The Jolly Hunstman. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside the pub on leads. Dog water is available on request.
