Map of M5 Junction 5 Walk

Leave the car park and follow the path into the trees and down a downhill leading track. Pass a large pond to the left, and continue to walk past Knotts Farm on the right to enter the woodland.

Continue ahead on the clear path through glades of majestic trees. Upon reaching the waymarker post go straight on. This path will emerge onto a track, to follow the route indicated by the waymarker, straight ahead. Keep a large oak tree and a portacabin to the right and carry straight on into a field, through the wooden kissing gate.

The clearly marked public footpath leads up to the church. Be prepared to use a lead if livestock is grazing in the fields here.

After the church, retrace your steps through the wood, and past Knotts Farm to return up the small hill to the car park.
