Getting There

Pamington Circular Walk

Leave the M5 at Junction 9 and take the A46 signed Evesham, Ashchurch, northbound 3rd exit, southbound 1st exit.

Drive past a BP Garage and Little Chef on the right and enter Ashchurch.

Drive over the railway line, past St Nicholas church on your left and a tank outside an army depot on your left. When you've past this, take the first right turn signposted Pamington Village Only. There is a small car park for the recreation field on the right. It may be gated off, in which case park on the grass verge.

Return to M5 Junction 9

Turn left out of the car park and left again onto the A46, which returns you to the M5.

Length of walk: approx 40-50 minutes.

Leaving the car park, walk back onto the road, turn right and walk down to the public footpath signs. Follow the sign pointing to the right. Cross the wooden bridge and walk across the field (the playing fields are on your right) towards the bridge slightly to your left. Walk over the bridge and bear slightly to the left in the next field to cross the next bridge. Walk around the next field with the hedgerow on your left, heading towards the gateposts on the other side (to the left of Smow Farm).

Go through the metal swing gate and walk into the next field. Follow the footpath with the farm and hedgerow on your right. Walk out onto the track and turn left. At the end of the field, the farm track bears round to the right. Ignore the track to go straight on through the gateway ahead of you and turn left. Walk along with the hedge on your left.

Walk around the wooden gate you see at the end of the field and continue walking in the same direction. Note the electric fence to the left. At the end of the field, there is an open gateway. Walk through this and continue to walk in the same direction. The hedge is still on your left. You can see a wooden gate ahead. There is more electric fencing as you approach the gate. On the other side of the gate is a farm track. Turn left up the track. Ahead you will see a wooden gateway and to the left of the lane you will see Pamington Court Farm. Go through the wooden swing gate to the right of the main gate.

As you walk past the farm (dogs on leads here) you will join the lane from Pamington. Keep walking in the same direction passing first the Pamington Sewage Pumping Station on the left, then the public footpath signs to return to the car park on your left.
