Getting There
Leave the motorway at Junction 5 and follow signs to Services.
Park as close to the left side of the Travelodge as possible.
Return to M18 Junction 5
Follow the exit signs to return to the M18.
Doncaster North Services
This walk is best attempted when the weather has been dry for some time.
In wet weather wellies, dog towels and humour are essential!
Start from the far corner of the Travelodge and walk across the grass with the lake to the right as far as the Public Footpath arrows, and turn left.
The path is signed with yellow Public Footpath arrows and easy to follow.
The path joins up with a farm track, where you turn right and turn round after 10 minutes or so to return to the car park. This earthy lane is used by tractors, and can be very muddy in wet weather.
Facilities
Small Moto services with hot meals, Burger King, WH Smiths, Ritazza coffee. Dog water stand just inside the main entrance.
This is one of the friendliest motorway services we’ve visited, with happy chatty people working there and an unusually calm atmosphere. Amazing.
