Allington Castle recreation ground

Length of walk: 30-40 minutes
This is a walk that's more interesting for dogs than people, as there seems to be a constant stream of local dogs coming here for exercise and playtime.
From the car park there is a path that leads around the perimeter of the grounds, which for some reason took Jem into dog sniffing raptures. Rabbits, at a guess.
There's plenty of space here for ball or frizbee games.
The castle ruins are down from the car park entrance. We thought they looked gloomy and miserable, and didn't investigate.
Facilities
Free car park. Dog poo bins in car park.
