Map of M25 Junction 10 Walk

Length – 30 minutes+

Ockham Common is a site of special scientific interest as well as a favourite for families and dog walkers. If you use the 1st car park, the coolness of the pine forest is ideal for hot, travel weary dogs.

After walking through the pines, beyond the trees, the marked path to the Semaphore Tower is not recommended as snakes have their habitat here. From the forest, return to the car park to join the Link Path to Boldermere Lake, crossing the road to walk over meadows to the lake. Fishing is forbidden at the lake, and so water loving dogs can splash away without restraint.

Additional maps and walking routes are available at the refreshment kiosk.
