Getting There
Sat Nav: KT16 8LN
Leave the M25 at Junction 11 to take the A317 Chertsey, Northbound 3rd exit, Southbound 1st exit. At the roundabout take the 1st exit, signed B375 Shepperton, to follow signs for the Fordwater Industrial Estate. At the traffic lights turn right onto Bridge Road, signed Shepperton B375. Pass The Boathouse PH on the left. Cross over the river bridge, and the car park is on the right, unsigned.
The car park is hard to spot. If you miss it, double back at the next roundabout, very close, and on this approach the entrance is opposite Abba Storage and some bungalows.
Return to M25 Junction 11
Turn left from the car park onto Chertsey Bridge Road and cross the bridge. Turn left, signed M25/A317 Weybridge, onto Weir Road. Enter Addlestone. At the roundabout take the 4th exit, signed M25, to return to the M25 Junction 11.
Riverside Walk
From the car park go through the kissing gate into the adjacent field. This is Dumsey Meadow. Follow the path parallel to the road for a short distance and then bear slightly to the right underneath the power lines to reach the Public Footpath sign and the river.
Bear left to join the Thames Path passing through a kissing gate onto a well manicured path running between the river and residential gardens. Watch out here as there are a few short paths to the left which lead to the road.
Follow the river downstream for the distance you desire, and then turn around to return.
