Runnymede Pleasure Grounds

Length of walk: 20-30 minutes
This is a large, bucolic city green with much to offer. On a warm summer's day expect to see families enjoying their picnics underneath gazebos and tents, and children are well catered for with a brightly painted old-fashioned merry-go-round and bouncy castle.
There's plenty of room for dogs too, as most of the picnickers stay next to their cars!
From the car park, head towards the river to join the Thames Path national trail. This is part of a trail that runs alongside the Thames from its source to the sea.
This section of the path is quite short, but certainly enough to revive a travel-weary hound.
Facilities

Pay & Display car park, charge £1.20 for 1 hour. WC and disabled access WC, café, children's playground and funfair. Dog poo bins throughout. River boat trips available.
