Getting There
Leave the M40 at Junction 10 and follow the signs to park at Cherwell Valley Services.
Return to M40 Junction 10
Leave the services area and follow the signs to rejoin the M40.
Cherwell Valley Services
Follow the path between the Travelodge to the left, and the services to the right, over a wooden bridge towards a dog poo bin.
Turn right onto the short grass, with a field on the left and a stream on the right.
At the end of the field, go through the overgrowth and return to the stream. Walk with the stream on the right to a T-junction of paths. To avoid a road, turn left and follow the path as it goes over a footbridge and leads rather muddily through the trees. Follow this path with woodland to the left, and a hedge on the right.
Approaching the end of the field bear left at the fencing and then through a gateway. At this point the stream should be on the right. Continue as far as the dog poo bin and turn right to return to the car park.
In wet weather, wellies are desirable – and expect a soggy dog by the end of the walk.
