The Daffodil Way

Cross the road directly opposite the Beauchamp Arms and climb over the stile to join the waymarked Daffodil Way.
Walk through two meadows full of wild flowers and over a small brook, which has clean looking water. Follow the path through a metal gate into a very large farmed field and turn left to walk around the field with the hedgerow to the left. Continue on the broad track at the side of the field as far as the telephone wires and clump of trees and for a 30-40 minute walk turn around here to retrace your steps.
Facilities

The Beauchamp Arms does provide food, and there is a beer garden where dogs may sit. The opening hours are short (1200-1400 at lunchtimes). If food is a must, there is a catering van in a lay-by on the A417 which keeps longer hours.
