Woodbank Memorial Park

There are two parks here, each with a distinctive character. Dogs will definitely prefer the 90 acre Woodbank Memorial Park , which is cut through by a number of trails including the Fred Perry Way and the Valley Way. There's plenty of space here for off-lead walking and it seems that the further you go, the better it gets. To reach the Memorial Park, turn right at the sign by the entrance gates.
By contrast, Vernon Park is immaculately manicured, with display flowerbeds and gracious lawns. Definitely worth letting the dog sulk on the lead for a while to admire the cannons captured from Sevastopol during the Crimean War.
Facilities

Free parking, two disabled parking spaces. Tea Room open 1000-1600 daily. Dog poo bins. Information board with maps, and a trail pack for the Woodbank Memorial Park is available from the museum.
