Dog walk days out for you and your dog

Countryside dog walking weekends

Want to spend a weekend walking your dog with like-mindedpeople?

Lots of us love long country walks with the dog, but it’smuch more fun with a group of friends. Especially when you don’t have to worryabout map-reading and getting lost, or finding that your walk route goesthrough endless fields of sheep or scary cows.

Explore by Paw dog walking weekends is a community of dogwalkers who enjoy getting out and about to new dog-friendly places and walking theirdogs.

Our weekends are based around a 4-6 mile walk each day insome of the UK’s most glorious counties and National Parks. The walks arecreated especially for the groups by the Driving with Dogs team, and led byexperienced local guides.

After the dog walk, you can relax with a group of people whoare just as crazy about their dogs as you! A meal in a traditional pub(dog-friendly of course) with roaring fires and a decent wine list and realales is an essential part of the day.

Explore by Paw weekends are in places where there’s plentyof choices for dog-friendly accommodation to suit all budgets and lifestyles. From camping, yurts and campervanning to holiday cottages or boutique hotels –the choice is entirely yours. Explore by Paw has no commercial relationshipswith any accommodation providers – this is a club, not a business! We can sometimesget cheaper prices for group bookings, and tell you if this is an option.

You don't have to come for the whole weekend! Each day is complete in itself, and easily managed as a day trip from London, for example.

The dog walks are led by local guides who know their area, have experience with dogs, and like meeting new people too. Our guides willtypically be trained and qualified dog walkers with pet First Aid training, andexcellent navigation skills. Not a job for the faint-hearted! A small chargeper dog is made for the guide’s services – people go completely free. And yes,you do need a dog to come!
