Why don't more pubs instal electric vehicle chargers?

If you have to stop to charge the car up, wouldn't you rather use your time well? Driving with Dogs gives you recommendations for dog-friendly pubs with EV chargers, and a dog walking route too.
So when you need a charging stop, make the dog happy with a short walk, and then enjoy a coffee or snack in the dog-friendly pub.
At the moment we've only heard of the super-clever people at St Austells Brewery in Cornwall who have installed EV chargers in some of their pub car parks. Hopefully other publicans and brewers will see the benefits to their customers and start installing EV chargers too.
One thing's for sure, I don't want to hang around on a petrol station forecourt waiting for the car to charge and with the dog panting to go out in the car.
If you know of any dog-friendly pubs, cafes or parks with EV chargers please let us know - tweets to @drivingwithdogs or e-mail on the 'contact us' form.

MOTORWAY WALKS - The Book

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits.

Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Walking the Dog: Motorway Walks for dogs and drivers is available from the RAC shop (link URL http://www.racshop.co.uk/rac-books.html) and all the usual online bookstores such as amazon.

If your local bookstore doesn't have a copy in stock, you can order by quoting the ISBN number: 978-1-845841-02-7
