Jem's bookstore is now 'open' in the members' lounge. We haven't figured out a way to serve coffee and pastries yet, but new books are being added regularly so it's worth a look if you're after longer walks.
The walking books we're putting in the bookshop are ones that we've used ourselves for weekend walkies with Jem. The problem with finding longer dog walks is that very often there's a lot of road walking on the route. Even big, fast A roads - which isn't our idea of a walk!
So the books that make it onto the shelves are ones where over two-thirds of the walks have been OK for Jem to be off-lead, and any road walking is minimal. Mud, sheep and stiles may often be part of these routes though, and walking boots are essential kit!
