Waggy Trails - smiles, not stiles

If you're off to the Peak District this summer, check out the new Waggy Trails ... dog walks in the Derbyshire Peak District with no walking on busy roads, as few step-stiles as possible (and pics of the stiles so that you can see how big they are before you set off), and an indication of whether sheep and/or cows are likely on the walk.

To see them as a set, just type 'Waggy' into the DwD search box.

Waggy Trails are ideal for dogs who don't do stiles, sheep, or lead-walking on busy roads, with plenty to interest people too.

The walks are within easy reach of Ashbourne, Matlock, Buxton or Bakewell. And many end with a paw wash in a clear, fresh stream!

All the Waggy Trails are thoroughly tested by the DwD team and Jem, with extra help in Derbyshire from Faye the Greyhound,  Retriever Becks (aged 12) and Boxer Trudi.

Like the motorway walks, you'll find info on facilities, parking, pubs, picnic places and sat nav codes (where available) too.

MOTORWAY WALKS - The Book

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits.

Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Walking the Dog: Motorway Walks for dogs and drivers is available from the RAC shop (link URL http://www.racshop.co.uk/rac-books.html) and all the usual online bookstores such as amazon.

If your local bookstore doesn't have a copy in stock, you can order by quoting the ISBN number: 978-1-845841-02-7
