Welcome tray upon arrival for adults / children. Welcome treat for your dog(s).

Accommodation
Bedrooms (double, twin, single) sleeping up to 5. Bathroom with Shower. Large fully equipped kitchen / diner, small back family room and front lounge. Small downstairs cloakroom and side porch. Double garage. Private garden, child and dog friendly with outside sitting area.

Dog Rules
We have 2 dog rules at the cottage. Dogs are allowed in the bedrooms but please keep off the beds. And please don't leave your dog(s) on it's / their own for any longer periods than you would at home.

Walks

There are several footpaths from the village for walks through beautiful countryside. From Little End the path leads towards Shearsby or Knaptoft, there’s also one to Arnesby. From Church Walk go by the church and follow the path to Peatling Parva. From the bottom of the village the path leads to Peatling Magna. Bruntingthorpe is also on part of “The Leicestershire Round” the 100 mile walk around the county. We have several local maps at the cottage for guest use.

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits. Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Driving with Dogs is working with the Border Collie Trust GB to bring you the Motorway Walks book at £9.99 (plus p&p). Every book sold will include a donation to the work of the Trust. Jem, the collie who has tested all the motorway walks, is a Border Collie Trust rescue and we're delighted that donations from the book he inspired will go back to helping the Trust with their work.
