Description

An easy to navigate, interesting and varied walk along the towpaths of two canals. The lure of food in The Boot means that the return leg of the walk is often much speedier than the outward route.

Parking and facilities at The Boot.  The rear car park is for walkers to use.

There's also a small kiosk on the waterway, turn left onto the canal from the car park and it's visible.

Access the towpath from the car park and turn right.

Keep following the path with the water to your left, past the Kingswood 'stop' and onto the Grand Union canal. You can turn left or right here - we usually go left for no particular reason!

Turn round at your own halfway point to return to the pub.

From Hockley Heath (A3400) take the Old Warwick Road (B4439) and The Boot is on the left side before Kingswood village.
