An interesting walk in a young woodland that has yet to fully develop. It's already popular with dog walkers and is ideal walking without stiles or sheep.

There are waymarked trails here, the Heron route is 1.5 miles, the Kestrel is 1 mile and the easy access Nightingale route is just over half a mile.

From Swindon take the A419 towards Cirencester. Turn right to South Marston. The entrance to the woodland is signed from the entrance to the Nightingale Hotel in the centre of the village.
