Walk

There's lots of great dog walking on Thurstaston Common, which is well covered with tracks and has several self-guided walks to enjoy.   Thurstaston Hill is at the far end of the park and is notable for its sandstone outcrops (which the Victorians believed were used by the Vikings to carry out sacrifices!). The views from the top are outstanding, and on a clear day it is possible to see all the way from Snowdonia to the Lake District.
