The Manager’s House is a substantial gritstone house with its own entrance and south-facing garden. It is let as self-catering holiday accommodation by the week or for short breaks. 4 star rating.
There's no doubting the warmth and sincerity of the welcome you will receive here from Jane and Jonathan, and their collie pup Beeley. The 'cottage' is the ideal base for walks in perfect White Peak countryside, and you'll find many dog-friendly pubs in the larger villages nearby. The Manager’s House has a spacious country kitchen including an oil fired Stanley range and a dining table.
There is a comfortable sitting room with a welcoming Clearview wood stove. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom / utility room. This leads to a bathroom that has a shower-bath, a wash basin and a toilet.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms both of a good size, one with a super-king sized double bed, the second having two single beds. Both rooms have views over the garden and fields.
Duvets, linen and towels provided. Oil fired Stanley range provides cooking, central heating and hot water. Electric oven and hob and microwave also provided. Fridge-freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, colour TV (Sky - 14 Free to Air channels), video, dvd player, radio / cd player. Stair Gate. Electricity included. Logs provided.
