Description
This is a lovely place to visit. It's set in an early 18th century landscaped garden and there's plenty of lakes, cascades and a grotto to enjoy. The views of the Vale of Neath are wonderful and it's a fabulous place to escape from the crowds.

Walks

There's lots to walk around here, with signed woodland trails which link the main viewpoints at Mosshouse Reservoir and Cefn Morfudd. Alternatively, a stroll around the lake is also enjoyable with some charming cascades to enjoy.
The main area of the park is accessible to all, but the route to the reservoir is hilly in places and rather muddy in wet weather. |

From the A465 west of Neath, take the exit for the A474 signed Neath, Pontardawe. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit. Cross over another roundabout and, at the next one, take the 1st exit onto the B4434 signed Cimla, Tourist Destinations. At the traffic lights, turn right signed Cimla, Afan Forest Park, then take the 3rd left turn (on a mini-roundabout) onto Beechwood Avenue. At the T-junction, turn right and continue ahead to reach the car park. |
