Every Thursday is PIE NIGHT. You get a choice of home made pie, which is served with chips & vegetables and then if you still have room a selection from the sweet menu. Worth booking as it's a popular night.

The home made food served at the Angler's Rest, is made by Beryl using only the freshest local ingredients. There is a selection of Bar Meals and Main Meals with a Specials board to make the choice even harder!

Dog Rules
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Hikers' Bar.

The pub is surrounded by walks - either the Monsal Trail, the Limestone Way or just a gentle riverside potter!

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits. Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Driving with Dogs is working with the Border Collie Trust GB to bring you the Motorway Walks book at £9.99 (plus p&p). Every book sold will include a donation to the work of the Trust. Jem, the collie who has tested all the motorway walks, is a Border Collie Trust rescue and we're delighted that donations from the book he inspired will go back to helping the Trust with their work.
