Description

Awesome sunsets and sea views at this remote but well-tended site on a farm near(ish) to Gwbert. Motorhomes, caravans inc tourers, and tents of all sizes fit happily onto a huge field.

Peewits chatter in the hedges, and the lowing of contented cattle is the only background music you'll get.  And on a more practical note, the showers and WCs were queue-free and spotlessly clean in August (2010).

The DwD team pitched here, and even though it was high season and the weather was fine the campsite was quiet after 10pm.

Other Facilities

Electric hook-ups, continuous hot water at no extra charge, use of fridges and washing/drying machines.

Local produce, inc barbeque packs, milk, sausages, bacon, etc available from the farm.

As much rubbish as possible is recycled - the only campsite we found to be really organised about this.

Loads of space for kids and dogs to play without going near other campers, and a bridle path runs to Mwnt beach from the site. It's not a dog-friendly beach, but you can spot dolphins and porpoises from the path.
