Walk
We visited after a walk starting from Tegg's Nose Visitors' Centre which is about 5 minutes drive away from the pub (although the most direct route involves a very narrow lane not suitable for caravans). Routes along the Gritstone Trail are waymarked from the Visitors' Centre. The pub is right next to an aqueduct carrying the Macclesfield Canal over the road and there are steps up to the canal from the road.
