Wandylaw Farm Lodges - Outlook Lodge

Description

Offering contemporary interiors, this pair of single-storey holiday cottages stand in their own grounds, are tasteful and elegant and sure to delight all age groups. Renovated in 2011 on a slightly elevated site to maximise the fantastic views over towards the coast (Outlook Lodge, ref 26283), yet only 9 miles from the historic town of Alnwick. This is an ideal location to explore this glorious coastline. Bamburgh, with its majestic fortress towering over the village, is a short drive with a golden sandy beach making an idyllic spot for picnics and days by the sea. Alnwick has enchanting water gardens and a famous castle as well as many pubs, eateries, fine shops and cobbled streets. Nearby Seahouses, famous for its lovely fish and chips, is a bustling harbour town unchanged for years. Take a boat trip from here to the Farne Islands to see the migrating birds or seals. No trip to Northumberland is complete without checking the tides and heading over to Holy Island, reached by a causeway. You will find golf courses, hills and valleys for strolling, rambling, cycling or driving. This pair of holiday cottages (26282 and 26283) will delight even the most discerning visitor and is perfectly located to tour this unspoilt county. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
