The outstanding beauty of the Galloway Hills and numerous lochs make it a joy to walk in with many trails and a chance to observe the plentiful bird, wildlife and flora of the area.

The holiday maker can take advantage of fishing for trout in the river 50 yards away or in the many lochs. Golf, sailing and canoeing are also available locally. Shop and restaurant 0.5 miles, pub 10 miles.
