This charming little timbered cottage is tucked away in Bernay in the Normandy countryside and is perfect for getting away from it all. Compact and simple, it has views across the countryside and is the ideal place for discovering the local shops, markets, and bars. Drive south through the rolling hills and green twisting valleys to Lisieux where there is a large street market, which is ideal for sampling the famous cheeses and ciders. Deauville has sandy beaches, a racetrack and a casino. Honfleur is an hour’s drive away and is full of art galleries, cafés and has a wonderful beach. Paris is an hour by direct train and is ideal for a day trip.
