The holiday cottage has lovely views over the enclosed gardens and is situated on the outskirts of the pretty village of Roadwater. There is superb scenery and walking on the South West Coastal Path or inland on Exmoor. The Victorian villages of Lynmouth and Lynton, famous for the Watersmeet Gorge (NT), Valley of the Rocks and funicular cliff railway. Visit Minehead with its promenade and shops, or the West Somerset Railway for those interested in steam trains. Porlock Weir, Dunster Castle (NT) and village with deer park and mill make for interesting days out. Enjoy the beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor. Shop and pub 0.75 miles.
