Forge Cottage

Description

Aptly named, this mid-19th-century holiday cottage was once the village forge. With lots of beams, it exudes a real characterful feel, and has its own very pretty, enclosed courtyard garden. One of a pair, it overlooks the village green and makes an ideal base for walkers. Aldeburgh, 4 miles, offers visitors good shops, restaurants, a golf course, a shingle beach and theatre. Snape Maltings 3 miles. Dunwich, Southwold, Woodbridge and Ipswich all an easy drive. Shop 2 miles, pub 20 yards.

Small beamed living room with wood-burning stove in inglenook fireplace. Small beamed dining room with partially exposed brick walls and modern fitted kitchen area. Morning room with French doors to patio and sofa-bed (for +2). First floor: Double bedroom. Single bedroom with sloping ceiling. Bathroom with sloping ceiling. Separate toilet.

MOTORWAY WALKS - The Book

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits.

Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Walking the Dog: Motorway Walks for dogs and drivers is available from the RAC shop (link URL http://www.racshop.co.uk/rac-books.html) and all the usual online bookstores such as amazon.

If your local bookstore doesn't have a copy in stock, you can order by quoting the ISBN number: 978-1-845841-02-7
