The lovely Isis Lake is a carp stocked fishing lake where rods are kept in the property for visitors’ use. The immediate area has a tennis court, football field and a bowling green. After a fun packed day discover the many local traditional pubs, hotels and cafes tucked away in delightful Cotswold villages or visit the Gateway Centre Cafe for a relaxing lakeside meal. Within easy driving distance are Whitehorse Hill and Bibury, whilst for nature lovers the Cotswold Wildlife Park is a wonderful attraction. The historic town of Cirencester is just a ten-minute drive while Cheltenham, with excellent shopping, famous race course, art gallery and museum is just under an hour. From Cheltenham, visitors can take one of two Romantic Roads which do loops of the area and give a rich experience of all aspects of the Cotswolds. Further towns and cities of interest include Stratford, Bath and Oxford. Shops, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
