The Water Tower

Description

For couples wanting a holiday out of the ordinary, this wonderful, fully refurbished, detached water tower stands elegantly in a rural location within an AONB, in the grounds of the owners’ farm. It offers stunning countryside views which can be savoured from the huge windows of the first floor bedroom. There is a large garden, to one side are fields and the other side an equestrian ring. There are many public footpaths and bridle ways from the door, and Ashdown Forest with riding school is also close by. Conveniently located, London can be reached in just over an hour, Brighton and Lewis are easy driving distances, plus English Heritage and National Trust properties/gardens including Wakehurst Place and Penshurst Place. Discover Royal Tunbridge Wells, Pooh Bridge at nearby Hartfield, plenty of golf courses and the Bluebell Line Steam Railway. Gatwick about 30 minutes’ drive away. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Open-plan living/dining room/kitchen. Spiral staircase to first floor: Double bedroom with four-poster bed and en-suite shower room with toilet.

MOTORWAY WALKS - The Book

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits.

Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Walking the Dog: Motorway Walks for dogs and drivers is available from the RAC shop (link URL http://www.racshop.co.uk/rac-books.html) and all the usual online bookstores such as amazon.

If your local bookstore doesn't have a copy in stock, you can order by quoting the ISBN number: 978-1-845841-02-7
