Description

This detached lodge is situated within Croy’s Estate and lies in 35 acres of parkland with well established topiary and walled gardens. The area is well known for trout, salmon and sea trout fishing, and woodland walks are available from the door. Castle Douglas, Scotland’s Food Town, 3 miles. Threave, an NT property, is especially popular at daffodil time and the Galloway Hills are popular for walking and mountain biking. Loch Ken, 7 miles, provides fishing and sailing with courses at varying levels of skill. Solway Coast with wonderful sandy beaches, 6 miles. Shops 4 miles, pub 3 miles.
