Rose Farm - Rose Cottage

Description

Rose Farm is a 10-acre smallholding situated in a wooded valley near the village of Ponsanooth, within easy reach of the north and south coasts of Cornwall. These semi-detached holiday cottages converted from barns, offer delightful accommodation, and are situated along a private lane where you are free to wander and enjoy the lovely surroundings. There is also an orchard, and a large field for children to play. The owners, who live in the main farmhouse, will give you a warm welcome and are usually on hand to give information about the area. Falmouth, with the National Maritime Museum is 5 miles, offering beaches, scenic boat trips, sea and coarse fishing. The classic city of Truro, 6 miles, has a large selection of exclusive shops, several restaurants and of course the famous cathedral. There is also a wealth of footpaths and walks in the immediate area with the Bissoe Trail where you can hire cycles. Explore Cornwall’s rich mining heritage, or further afield to the Eden Project and the many wonderful gardens tucked away in the sheltered valleys at Glendurgan (NT), Trebah and Trelissick. Pub 11/2 miles.
