Each cottage is well-equipped and furnished and has a woodburner, making them a superb all year round base for a holiday in this beautiful area. A variety of birds and red squirrels are regular garden visitors. Easy road access to the quieter western lakes and fells, Ennerdale Water 2 miles. Cumbrian Coast 10 miles. Walking, cycling, climbing and riding locally. Free fishing in season by arrangement. Cockermouth and the Georgian port of Whitehaven, both 10 miles. Shops 3 miles, two pubs serving meals in Ennerdale Bridge ½ mile. All properties: Woodburner in living room inc. NSH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. DVD. Stereo/CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. Washer/dryer. F/freezer. Shared use of 30-acres grounds with sitting-out area and furniture. Ample parking. No smoking. Friday to Friday. NB: River in grounds, 200 metres.
