This fine Georgian house, built in 1702, is a listed building. Located on the high street in the very centre of this popular, picturesque and historic village, overlooking the square and only 300 yards from the river. This delightful village is the jewel in the Northumberland crown and is perfectly located as a base for you to explore all the attractions. Dominated by its fine castle ruins and riverside walks, Warkworth has plenty of friendly village pubs, select shops and galleries so you can leave the car behind. The oldest Norman church in Northumberland is in the centre of the village. Less than a mile from a sandy bay which stretches from Amble to Alnmouth in this AONB. Set on the coastal route providing over 20 miles of golden sands, and Alnwick castle and gardens are just 6 miles away. Amble, 2 miles, for boat trips to Coquet Island to view the bird sanctuaries. The house gets its name from the Roseate Terns which can often be seen around the area. An ideal location for exploring all the North East counties. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
