The surrounding towns and villages all have their own charm. Blairgowrie (3 miles) is a bustling small town with good shops, a leisure centre and swimming pool.

Travel north from here to the Glenshee ski centre. Historic Dunkeld (8 miles) is in a magnificent setting amidst wooded crags on the River Tay and is one of Perthshire’s gems, or visit Pitlochry (20 miles) a delightful Victorian Town with its famous festival theatre.
