The wild beauty of Bodmin Moor is available from the doorstep, complete with a wealth of natural flora and fauna to be observed while traversing the excellent walking terrain. Set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, within a pretty courtyard setting, the cottages adjoin the owners’ small Bed and Breakfast. Whether you take a dip in the pool, or choose to roam the lovely gardens and woodland, there is a lot of scope to have a holiday to remember. Locally there are a range of attractions within easy reach, including Colliford Lake Park and the Hurlers Stone Circle. Go south to Looe, 13 miles, for a sandy beach, interesting Monkey Sanctuary and the South West Coast Path. West to Bodmin, 6 miles, for a golf course and Lanhydrock (NT), with its 450-acre grounds, or north towards the coast at Tintagel Head. Horse riding at Denby, 7½ miles, Wadebridge 13 miles.
