Description

These single storey semi-detached holiday cottages (refs 26209 and 26210) are located in an AONB, 6 miles south of Bath, and on the edge of the picturesque village of Faulkland. The cottages are built in the converted stable buildings of this former farm and retain original features including beams and exposed stone walls. Both enjoy stunning southerly views over the garden and beyond. The village has useful amenities including two pubs, a post office and village shop, and there is a lovely green complete with old wooden stocks and the now famous Somerset Lavender farm. The location is ideal for exploring the attractions in Wiltshire and Somerset, including Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor, the beautiful cathedral in Wells, Stourhead House and Gardens, Stonehenge and Longleat Safari Park. Just 15 minutes from the centre of Bath, where you can visit the Roman Baths, the Royal Crescent, the abbey, or just enjoy the unique shops, cafes, galleries, museums and restaurants. Shop and pub 1/2 mile.
