Camelot Hotel, Devon

Description

The Guest House is ideally suited to enjoy comfort within a convenient location from which to enjoy Plymouth's environment which include the National Marine Aquarium, the Barbican and the City Centre (a 3 minute walk) with its shops and pavement cafes. Theatre Royal is a 5 minute walk and the Pavilions a mere 3 minute walk from our premises. Well behaved pets are also welcome by arrangement and we also offer a pet sitting facility. The National Marine Aquarium and many yacht marinas are nearby plus the H.M.S. Scylla diving experience. To the North lies Dartmoor, with its ever changing scenery and quaint villages. To the East, Dartmouth and the South Hams have glorious bays and inlets on the coast. To the West are the picturesque fishing villages and history of Cornwall including the Eden Project and numerous beautiful gardens. A majority of the local Restaurants are sensational - they really do have to be sampled to be believed, fresh Barbican fish, the finest Lamb, Steaks cooked to perfection, complimented by excellent Wines, most from the outside still have the Historical Period features with warm and cosy settings which lie within. For a great day out, come to Plymouth and experience the above in a vibrant modern city. There’s something for everyone – whatever the season.

MOTORWAY WALKS - The Book

With nearly 200 walks from the Driving with Dogs website, this handy little book is an ideal guide to the best dog-friendly pubs and dog walks within 5 miles of UK motorway exits. Like the website walks, you'll also find information about campervan access, disabled facilities, kids' activities, safe parking places, sat-nav codes and written route directions too.

Driving with Dogs is working with the Border Collie Trust GB to bring you the Motorway Walks book at £9.99 (plus p&p). Every book sold will include a donation to the work of the Trust. Jem, the collie who has tested all the motorway walks, is a Border Collie Trust rescue and we're delighted that donations from the book he inspired will go back to helping the Trust with their work.
