Dog walks near Callander and Ben Ledi, Scotland A newly created car park with picnic tables and a choice of several good dog walks. As with all the car parks in the Trossachs you need to be early or lucky to get a parking space.
Bernera dog-friendly Beach, Scotland The beach is close to the ferry arrival from Skye, and also a really good place to spot seals. We took the dogs for a romp here and then went on to the nearby Glenelg Inn for lunch.
Battle Site with dog walk and waterfall, Scotland A pull-in off the A87 will lead you to a dog walk towards waterfalls and, apparently, the site of the Battle of Glenshiel from 1719.

Littlemill forest dog walk A9 northbound, Scotland The dog walk here is a real hidden gem. And the geological features are interesting for curious people too. Not too far from the A9 heading north and well worth an explore.
Skipness Castle and seafood cafe, Scotland Today the castle looks a tad forlorn, but back in the day it was a vibrant centre and visitors came by sea. Dogs are welcome around the ruins and there's a seafood cafe next door.
