Walk
Turn right from the front of the Cowper Arms, cross over Colyer Close and walk on Station Road. Turn right, Woodside Road. Then take a right turn onto Warren Way. Walk to the end and bear right at the turning circle. Then take the signed (on the lamppost) footpath and plunge between hedges between houses. Follow the path and suddenly you'll find yourself in woodland. There are local paths here as well as the public footpaths and it's a pleasant place to give the dog a short circular walk with no livestock around. Footpaths also lead away from the trees and across the fields, but for a short walk they don't really go anywhere.
