One of the oldest pubs in Wales, this started life as a 16th century drover's inn and still retains some local characteristcs such as the stone-flagged floors and an unusual terrace that seems to have been hewn from the mountain. It's one of those wonderful places where the aroma of good food makes you feel instantly welcomed and at home. Dogs are welcome, but please call ahead to let them know Fido is on his way.
